With the Sitzprofi Guarantee, we assume responsibility for the usability and fit of your ordered seat in your vehicle. The same applies, of course, to ordered replacement parts. We can only provide this guarantee if you submit the type plate of your old seat to us.
Should something not fit, our seating experts will be happy to assist you at any time.

We welcome both commercial and private customers.
Commercial customers, colloquially known as B2B customers, are individuals who act on behalf of and for the account of a commercial or similar entity. Comparable entities include self-employed individuals, freelancers, farmers, but also associations, institutes, and government and municipal institutions such as offices and authorities. B2B customers can choose between purchase on account and purchase via PayPal, credit card, or instant bank transfer.
Private customers, colloquially known as B2C customers, are people who order goods for themselves or their non-professional environment.
B2C customers pay exclusively using the available payment options.

If a product is not shipped to you immediately, you will receive an email with the exact delivery date on your order confirmation. Reasons for delayed shipment include:
- Order quantities that exceed our inventory.
- An order placed late in the day means it doesn't make it onto the last truck of the day.
- Orders on Friday and weekends because we do not deliver on Saturday/Sunday.
- The simultaneous occurrence of defined factors that trigger a credit check on your person/company.
- Heavy, unwieldy goods that require special packaging and registration with a freight forwarder.

We make every effort to provide images for all of our products. Please understand that there may be slight delays in providing images for new items.

Businesses or similar institutions (see the FAQ "Who can order?") can choose between payment on account and PayPal. Private customers have access to all payment options except for purchase on account. Processing, except for purchase on account, is handled by the service provider Mollie.

Generally, you'll only find two types of costs on your invoice: the cost of the goods and the shipping costs. We don't charge any additional fees for certain payment methods, nor for packaging materials, nor for freight forwarding, nor for any other additional fees such as local surcharges. It's that simple.

Our invoices generally consist of only two types of costs: the goods and shipping.

Depending on the size, weight, or quantity of the ordered goods, we no longer ship with our parcel service provider, but with our freight forwarding company. Both types of logistics providers have their own expertise. Bulky freight forwarding goods must be handled very differently during the shipping process than a small package.

The average delivery time is extended by up to two days. Delivery is free curbside and must be personally acknowledged or authorized by you with a written drop-off authorization.

It is important to us that the items you order arrive as quickly as possible. In exceptional cases (see "How long is the delivery time?") where several items do not leave our warehouse on the same day, we may split the order into two partial deliveries: We will ship the immediately available portion of the order immediately, and the remainder according to the information on your order confirmation. If shipping costs are incurred (see "What shipping costs are incurred?"), we will allocate these costs across the partial deliveries based on their value. This means you only pay the shipping costs for the goods we ship.

Please understand that due to our just-in-time principle, we usually process your order so quickly that changes are no longer possible. Exceptions prove the rule; please feel free to contact us and we will check whether we can still make a change. Within the first hour after placing an order, there's a good 30% chance of making changes.
If you, as the recipient, are not at the delivery address, the goods will be returned and returned to us within two days. You can then decide whether you want to cancel the order or have the goods reshipped to the changed delivery address. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal without any ifs or buts (this only applies to seats that are not custom-made or if you have not sent us a seat type plate (Sitzprofi guarantee)). Please clarify the matter with us briefly before returning the item, e.g. by phone , email , or contact form . The returned goods should, if possible, be in their original packaging and undamaged. The return should be sent to: Michalek GmbH, Industriestraße 14, 31275 Lehrte. Please enclose the delivery note so that we can assign the returned goods to your order. The invoice amount will be credited after inspection of the returned items. This refund will be made promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract.
